System
In order to run ABC Analyzer, Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework is required installed. If this is not already installed, it can be found as an optional download through Windows Update. It can also be acquired through regular download1 or via the ABC Analyzer installer which automatically will download and install it if needed.
Operating system
ABC Analyzer runs on the following Microsoft Windows operating systems: Windows 7 and newer
Microsoft Data Access Components
ABC Analyzer uses Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) to communicate with Microsoft Excel and Excel sheets. The minimum required version of MDAC required for 100% compatibility is 2.6.

Furthermore it might be required that you install a Microsoft JET-driver, which can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2deddec4-350e-4cd0-a12a-d7f70a153156&displaylang=en
Important note on Excel-integration
ABC Analyzer is tightly integrated with Microsoft Excel
Troubleshooting: If Excel fails to open when you use the integrated Excel-buttons in ABC Analyzer, you're lacking vital compontents in your Excel installation. Please download the required components from above.
For full compatibility with all features you must be running Microsoft Excel 2003, 2007 or 2010.
The minimum requirement is Microsoft Excel 2000. Using ABC Analyzer with Microsoft Excel 2000 might require that you install some additional Microsoft data drivers for full compatibility.
Please note that you can use ABC Analyzer without these installs if you don’t use Microsoft Excel or Excel sheets. Furthermore certain system configurations do not require that you install Microsoft MDAC and Microsoft JET. An example of such a configuration is a Microsoft Windows 7 computer with a full installation of Microsoft Office 2010.
